Obituary - Hamish (Jim) Lippe

HAMISH LIPPE passed away aged 85 years, losing his final battle against cancer.

He was a dedicated vice-president of our club from the late eighties, member of Drongan Canine Society with his wife vera. he also - with his wife - was a long time memember of the Labrador Club Scotland and both these clubs will truly miss this real gentleman, with a tremendous sense of humour.

Hamish and vera will be known for their oakrowan prefix, which i am sure a lot of people will remember.

Hamish was in the Household Calvary he was also the Queens Piper. I learned at the funeral that he lead the procession at the Queen’s coronation. He and Vera will be missed at the gundog ringside and the family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and cards and floral tributes.

The dog scene has lost a great friend.
