WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS TO EAST OF ENGLAND 2005

Enjoy a perfect dog lover’s day out at this year’s East of England Championship Dog Show - one of the most popular and prominent fixtures in the dog showing calendar on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st July 2005 at the East of England Showground, Peterborough.

Now in its 47th year, the Championship Dog Show attracts nearly 10,000 top-winning dogs and their owners, presenting the ideal showcase for many of the top breeders from across the country.

Visitors to the Show can see over 130 individual breeds during the three days featuring Hounds, Toys & Terriers on Tuesday 19th; Gundogs & Utilities on Wednesday 20th and Working & Pastoral on Thursday 21st. And with the pet passport system now firmly established, overseas entries remain a welcome edition to the Show, making it a truly international event.

Andrew Mercer, Chief Executive said ‘The Championship Dog Show is a marvellous opportunity to see every kind of dog breed imaginable and with admission prices remaining low, makes it a terrific value for money day out’.

On-the-gate-admission: Adult £3, Senior (65+) £2 and Children (5-16 years) £1. Gates open from 8.15am ˆ 5pm, with judging to commence 10am (although some breeds may start earlier). Car Parking is FREE, with a network of level tarmac roads for ease of access for the disabled. For general information telephone 01733 234451 or visit www.showground.org.uk NB: Only dogs entered in the show (excluding guide dogs) are allowed on site.

The East of England Showground, situated in Alwalton, Peterborough, is easily accessible by car from all major routes and is well sign-posted. Rail passengers should travel to Peterborough Station located approximately 6 miles from the Showground and there is a taxi rank directly outside the Station. The Peterborough Bus Station is located opposite the railway station in the Queensgate Shopping Centre.

For YOUR chance to win one of five pairs of tickets giving free entry on any one day of the show, simply send an e-mail to Polly Farman, including your name and address. Closing date Friday, July 8th 2005.
