Professional Photographer specialising in Dog Photography especially the Afghan Hound. Portraits and social photography. Living in Warwickshire. David Paton is a regular columnist and photo journalist for OUR DOGS, the UK’s and perhaps the world’s oldest weekly canine journal.
Through his breed notes for his beloved Afghan Hounds, he has maintained a regular presence in the paper for many years, whilst his photography work extends across many breeds, news stories and features.

David Paton was Secretary of the Afghan Hound Association in 1969 and later became Chairman of the Afghan Hound Breed Council - A Member of the Kennel Club since 1972 and a Club Committee Member of the Kennel Club for 9 years. He has photographed Royalty, many TV and Film stars and sports people over the years. He is involved in advanced digital photography and only uses a Mac which he says is just "magic". Having had tuition in Photoshop approaching 10 years, his photographs speak for themselves .
